Hi, I am Sylvia Burton, the Broker/Owner of Sylvia Burton Properties. I have lived in the Bay Area for over 40 years. I am a graduate from San Jose State University, with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business.

Most of my business comes from referrals or repeat clients. I have an excellent reputation for quality service among both clients and other agents. I constantly continue my education so that I am current on the laws and trends in real estate sales. I have completed the extensive education and passed the required state board exam to obtain my Broker's license in both California and Hawaii. I have also completed the required courses and tests to obtain my ABR and GRI designation. (Accredited Buyer Representative and Graduate Realtor Institute). This is equivalent to a Masters Degree in Real Estate. I am also e-Pro500 certified by the National Association of Realtors. This means that I have skills to help you search for homes using the internet to send and communicate information to you. I also am a Seniors Real Estate Specialist. (SRES designation) and an Accredited Staging Professional. (ASP Designation). I am also a Certifed EcoBroker having completed study in environmentally conscious building and ways to bring more comfort and reduced energy costs to homes.

I am a full time Realtor and a member of the Santa Clara Association of Realtors. I provide services as far south as Gilroy, to San Carlos, to Castro Valley and Castro Valley. I also provide services in Maui, Hawaii as well. I represent both buyers and sellers. I am accessible to my clients for information about real estate at any time. Even if just to get the name of a service provider to do some minor repairs.

When I am not working I like to golf, kayak, spend time at the beach, try out new restaurants with friends, and relax with my family.
